The Office of the Ombud for Financial Services Providers (FAIS Ombud) is a statutory body under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS Act), No. 37 of 2002.
The FAIS Ombud was established to address and resolve complaints related to financial services in a fair, informal, cost-effective, and timely manner. The office aims to provide an independent, effective, and trusted alternative for dispute resolution, resolving complaints fairly and efficiently, without charge.
